'Players' Player of the Year 2011 - You decide


Scotland Rugby League would like you, the players, supporters, followers of rugby league in Scotland to have a say in a few of the awards for the forthcoming Awards Dinner on Saturday 15th October.  We are looking for you all to nominate someone from the National Youth League’s (both the U’15’s and U’17’s), Division 1 and the Premier Division as the Players’ Player of the Year 2011.  This is your chance to have a say in all four of these awards!

We have taken nominations from all of the teams involved and some of the key people within the Scotland Rugby League set-up and produced a list on nominees for you to choose from.  Simply click on the like button on who you would like to vote for in each category on our Facebook page.  The categories will be posted separately so you can have a vote in each. You can only vote for the player of your choice once.

Anyone can vote as long as they “like” the Scotland Rugby League Facebook page, so get all your friends and family to join in.  The voting will close at 5pm on Monday 10th October.

Tickets are still available for the Awards Dinner at Jury’s Inn in Glasgow, priced £40 per head.  This includes a 3 course meal and entertainment, as well as a ticket for the Scotland v Ireland Test International at Scotstoun Stadium the next day. You can get your tickets below by using the Paypal button.  Otherwise you can send a cheque made out to Scotland Rugby League Ltd to Scotland Rugby League (Awards), Caledonia House, 1 Redheughs Rigg, South Gyle, Edinburgh EH12 9DQ.  Just mark the address you want the tickets sent to on the back of the cheque along with a contact phone number.

Everyone’s support for this event is vital so we can grow the event and continue it in years to come.  Every penny that is made from activities like this goes straight back into developing the game in Scotland.  Your support is greatly appreciated and will help make this great game we all love bigger and better in Scotland.
